AFFIRMS ITS STAY IN NIGERIA
PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc has informed The Exchange that the publication in the Compass Newspaper of 5th February, 2009 captioned Panic as Unilever, PZ threaten to leave Nigeria, is false in all its ramifications.
The company affirms that the group remains confident in the future of the Nigerian economy, and has demonstrated this with an earlier commitment to invest 15.7 million (fifteen million, seven hundred thousand pounds sterling) and 5.6 million (five million, six hundred thous and) pounds sterling for an upgrade of its factories in Ikorodu and Aba respectively.
